Discharge Hose pipe Inspection

All discharge hoses purchased are numbered and their record is maintained

This number is to be painted with white paint on rubber part of hose.

All discharge hoses are inspected regularly and history for each hose is maintained on form.

All discharge hoses are inspected as follows:

Monthly for electrical continuity and resistance. Max. allowed is 10 ohms.

Six monthly pressure test for hose integrity at a pressure 1.5 times of normal working pressure.
